The tank cannot properly damage some characters with Super Armor. One of his attacks turns his opponent into a Super Mario World styled Koopa plus it has 2 or 3 Fatalities if all the opponent's Life is drained. When Stupid Little Drill Tank's Life drops below 125, its fires its drill like in the source game. When the player comes into contact with the drill, it will take 200 points of damage and gets knocked down, meaning the average character can only take up to five hits from the drill. Stupid Little Drill Tank drives back and forth, driving in the opposite direction after leaving the screen and returning. It is a boss character that behaves exactly like it did in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and has only two means of attacking an opponent. Stupid Little Drill Tank is an A.I.-only character and cannot be controlled by the player even when selected.
